Crystal Wright has put together a fast-paced, fact-filled, polemic that demonstrates how the Democrats, while professing support for minorities, screw black Americans (and virtually all honest citizens) at every turn.

In 12 chapters she demonstrates how D’s encourage crime, promote mob violence, create hopeless slums, encourage illegal immigration, kill jobs for legal residents–particularly blacks, provide sanctuary cities that encourage crime (including murder), carry on the eugenicist tradition of Margaret Sanger, butcher born and unborn babies (particularly black babies), damage and kill mothers, discourage family formation, divide Americans by skin color and every possible other characteristic, carry forward the bigotry and low expectations of a plantation society, and maintain a level of corruption that demonstrates their interest is only power and money.

The D’s have determined that by keeping many blacks dependent on government, they will be able to win elections even if the cost in American lives is considerable. She describes many horrific murders allowed by not deporting active criminals. Illegal’s were convicted of 38% of the murders in the five states of New York, Arizona, Texas, California, and Florida. They were 5.6% of the population of those states. Thus in the 6 years leading up to 2014 means that failure-to-deport led to an unnecessary 7,085 murders.

This Conservative Black Chick has definitely escaped the mindless group think that puts skin color before thinking, analysis, and beneficial action.

Over 400 footnotes provide links should you wish to read further about any of her fast paced citations.

Black lives don't matter to Democrats, only Black votes. Crystal Wright chapter by chapter demolishes the myth that Democrats are looking out for Black citizens. Democrats stand by doing nothing as violent criminals terrorize Black neighborhoods, but are quick to blame the police every time an officer, especially if he is white, is forced to shoot an "unarmed" teen -- usually a thug in the making already with a lengthy criminal record. The result of Democrat race baiting is usually riots and looting that harms who: Black businessmen and the residents of predominately Black neighborhoods. Democrats play the race card for one reason, it gets them votes. But it does nothing to end the cycle of crime, dependency, drug addiction and crappy education that a large proportion of the Black population face. President Obama has done nothing to help the Black community. The President plays the race card as well. If he had a son he'd look like Travon he says, but where is the President when Black teens are murdered daily by other Blacks? AWOL says Ms. Wright.

Regardless of your political leanings, this book takes an important step in telling a side of the bipartisan story that few dare voice. Con Job reveals many uncomfortable truths in a straightforward, unapologetic way. Crystal Wright provides an insightful (albeit occasionally inflammatory) counterpoint to the political correctness that the Liberal Left so frequently hides behind. Though I am politically moderate, I found it refreshing to read an articulate, well-researched book by a black woman that shatters stereotypes and bravely takes a stand against the blue side of the aisle and their belief that they are the de facto party of black Americans and struggling socioeconomic groups nationwide. This book presents a compelling case that, in reality, the left has actually done us all a serious disservice, and Democrats' ongoing glorification of the violence, crime, and irresponsibility plaguing our country does nothing to help elevate their presumptive constituent base within society at large.

Con Job exposes Democratic policies that are self-serving and perpetuate some of the worst of America. In this election year, read this book and maybe reconsider some of your previously held beliefs about which party truly has your interests in mind.

I saw how much flak this author was getting from the far left for being black and conservative, so I was interested to hear what she had to say.

After reading this book, it's obvious just why she's receiving such hate. In it, she takes the Left to task for their role in a multitude of American failures, and how they continue to exploit and encourage racial divisiveness to strengthen their position in politics at the expense of minorities and America's well-being. Unfortunately, rather than seeing the obvious even when it is presented so clearly, many have decided to attack Crystal. I, for one, appreciate her effort and applaud her for writing such a phenomenal book.

If you are the least bit interested in understanding some of the reasons why the United States is in the state it currently finds itself, THEN READ THIS BOOK! If you are a Democrat, and have the courage to hear a no-holds-barred assessment of the present state of your party, THEN READ THIS BOOK! If you are a Republican, and want to know what matters are important to anybody other than white males, THEN READ THIS BOOK!

Ms. Wright brings to this work a very rare perspective, and therefore, a very rare opportunity. She is a black, female Republic. She is not constrained to tow the line of the political party that sells itself as the one that cares more about women and minorities. She is not beholden to the Democrats for anything. But, Ms. Wright can also call the Republicans on their biases, and inattention to people other than white males, as a "card-carrying" member of the party and not be accused of just being an a Democrat. (See her other writing about this issue at conservativeblackchick.com.)

Read the appendix, a mini-biography of the racial experiences of her youth in 1970s Richmond, Virginia, first, before starting at the beginning of the book. Then, after finishing the rest of the book, ask yourself how things can be different; how can we improve these social circumstances that harm and degrade us all as Americans?

It is my hope that current and future leaders and policy makers of the Democratic Party will read this book, and acknowledge that they owe their supporters and and voters better then they have given them these past fifty years. Then they can start crafting solutions that benefit people's self worth and dignity, and not just pander to win the next election. After all, the first step to recovery is to acknowledge that you have a problem.
